1994 AC Cobra MkIV Continuation built under license by AutoKraft

This immaculate Mk IV was first registered in December 1994 and was hand built under licence from AC Cars Ltd by AutoKraft at Brooklands. Retaining the legendary spirit of the original Cobra, the Mk IV combines authentic construction with more modern build quality. This most desirable Continuation example has the slightly larger cockpit with improved switchgear, a resited fuel tank and upgrades to lightweight spec. The traditional aluminium coachwork is finished in deep blue with a white nose stripe, complemented by white rims, three-eared spinners and matching dark blue hood and side screens. Powered by Ford’s mighty 5 litre/302ci V8, developing 375bhp, the twin tube chassis is faithful to Shelby’s original; suspension is by coil springs with discs all round. The interior is trimmed throughout in black leather. Chassis number AK1502 has covered just 11,000 miles from new and is in superb condition having a recent body off restoration. Its significant presence is matched by its exhilarating performance.
